Supplies

  • 1 Quart measuring cup that has a spout, or a 1 Quart pitcher
  • Mini plastic cups (think Dixie cup size)

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Jell-O Gelatin (any flavor)
  • 1 Cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of cold alcohol (Vodka is the most common, but you can also use Rum or Tequila)

Directions

  1. Pour the Jell-O powder into the measuring cup. Add in 1 cup of boiling water and stir until all powder has dissolved completely.
  2. Add in a cup of cold liquor and stir until ingredients are combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the small plastic cups. Chill them in the fridge for at least 2 hours or longer. Long enough for the gelatin to set. You may want to use a large plate or pizza pan to sit the cups on.

Supplies

Plastic shot glasses that are tall and clear. These can be found at most party supply stores.


Ingredients

  • 5-3oz. Packages of Jell-O Gelatin (Buy one of each in Cherry, Orange, Lemon, Lime and Berry Blue)
  • 3 3/4 Cups of Vodka. You may use either plain, vanilla or citrus flavors
  • Whipped Cream
  • Rainbow Sprinkles


Directions

  • Add one cup of boiling water to five separate mixing bowls. Add a pack of gelatin to each bowl also. Stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
  • Stir in 3/4 cup of Vodka to each separate mixture.
  • Place the shot glasses inside of muffin pans and tilt the glasses on their edge.
  • Fill each glass 1/5 full of either blue or red, whichever direction you want to go in.
  • Place the muffin tin with shot glasses into the fridge and allow the gelatin to set. This usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Then continue with the additional colors in the same pattern as a rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue). You will need to stop and place the tin back in the refrigerator each time you add a new layer. Once you have used all five colors, allow the shots to refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours.
  • Before serving these Jello Shots, top with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

Supplies

Pan and cookie cutters, a square cutter will work well.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 2-3oz boxes of Jell-O Berry Blue
  • ¾ cup Agave Tequila in silver or clear
  • ½ cup Blue Curacao
  • 1 Tbsp sugar or agave nectar
  • Large crystal sugar for garnish


Directions

  • Pour lime juice, water, and sugar or agave nectar into a saucepan. Sprinkle in gelatin and allow it to soak for several minutes.
  • Heat on low until all the gelatin has dissolved, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and add in Blue Cuacao and Tequila.
  • Pour mixture into a rectangular pan and refrigerate until it has set completely. This may take several hours or overnight.
  • Once set, cut the Jell-O into squares
  • Before serving dip one side of the Jell-O shots into the crystal sugar. It adds a beautiful touch, but it will dissolve fast!

Ingredients

  • 1-3oz. box of Jell-O Gelatin, Strawberry flavor.
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup of Rum (clear)
  • ¼ Cup of Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1/4 Cup lime juice
  • 50 Large Strawberries or 3 to 4 lbs.
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Mini Lime Wedge


Directions

  1. Combine packet of strawberry Jell-O with 1 cup of water. Heat on stove until the gelatin powder has dissolved completely.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of rum, 1/4 cup of Grand Marnier and 1/4 cup of lime juice. Set aside.
  3. Shave off a small amount from the bottom of the strawberries so that they will sit upright.
  4.  Do not take off too much. Then hollow out the berries creating a hole in the top. You can use a grapefruit spoon, a strawberry huller or a paring knife to do this.
  5. Place hulled strawberries in a large pan, all upright and fill them with the gelatin mixture. Allow them to set for about 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Right before you serve them, dip the rim of each strawberry in sugar. You can also add a small lime rind for garnish.



Frozen Pink Margarita Jell-O Shots

Supplies

Pan and cookie cutters, a square cutter will work well.


Ingredients

  • 1 small apple
  • 3/4 agave tequila
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 Tbsps. Frozen lemonade concentrate thawed and strained so that all solids are removed
  • 2 packets of unflavored gelatin
  • ¼ Cointreau
  • 1 tbsp. coarse salt
  • 1 tbsp. large crystal sugar
  • 1 tbsp. orange zest


Directions

  1. 1.Crush the apple in a small mixing bowl using a cocktail muddler. Add in tequila. Set aside.
  2. Pour cranberry juice cocktail, lemonade concentrate, and ciderinto a saucepan. Sprinkle in gelatin. Allow mixture to soak a few minutes and heat on low. Stir it constantly, until the gelatin is dissolved. This usually takes around 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Strain the tequila mixture to press out all liquid. Add tequila mixture to gelatin mixture along with Cointreau. Pour final mixture into pan and chill until it has set. This can take several hours to finalize.
  4. Mix all garnish ingredients together and serve with them aside the shots to use for dipping or decorate the shots using the crystal sugar, coarse salt, and orange zest. You can dip the rim of a small glass into the salt and sugar combination and set a square of the Jell-O on top.

Supplies

Pan and cookie cutters, a square cutter will work well.


Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Jell-O Cherry
    • 1 Box of Jell-O Lime
    • 3 packets of unflavored gelatin
    • 1 can (14oz) of Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • 1 ½ cups of vanilla-flavored vodka
    • Whipped Cream
    • Mint Leaves
    • Small Red Candies


Directions

  1. Coat a 9” square dish with cooking spray. Use a paper towel to wipe out the dish and leave a light residue of oil behind.
  2. To make the first red layer, add half a pack of gelatin to 1/4 cup of water. Allow the gelatin to soak for 2 minutes.
  3. Add one box of Jell-O Cherry gelatin and 1 cup of boiling water. Stir everything until it has all completely dissolved.
  4. Add 3/4 cup of Vodka. Repeat the process to make the green layer using Jell-O Lime gelatin.
  5. To create the white layer, add two packets of gelatin to 1/2 cup of water. Allow the gelatin to soak for two minutes. Pour in one cup of boiling water and a 14 oz. can have sweetened condensed milk.

Stir all ingredients until they are mixed well, and all gelatin is dissolved. This will create around 3 cups of liquid. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

  1. In the prepared pan, pour half of the red mixture inside and place it in the fridge to set for around 20 minutes. Once it has set, add in about a third of the white mixture for the second layer. Return the pan to the fridge for an additional 20 minutes.
  2. Repeat by adding half the green mixture, another white layer, and then another red layer, white again, and then green on top. Once finished with layering, allow the finished pan to set overnight in the fridge, or at least 2 to 3 hours.
  3. When it is time to serve, pull the edges away from the pan, and turn upside down on a cutting board to release the Jello from the pan. Slice it into even squares.
  4. Place the layered squares on a serving tray and top them with a dollop of whipped cream, a small mint leaf, or red candy. You can also use crushed candy canes or red and green sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 Cups of prepared lemonade
  • 4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 1/4 cups of cake flavored vodka
  • 2 tsp. Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 6 small bowls to use with each color
  • Liquid food color
  • Frosting and Sprinkles for garnish


Directions

1. Pour lemonade into a saucepan and add in gelatin. Allow it to soak for around 2 minutes.

2. Heat over low, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

3. Remove from heat and add in Vodka and the sweetened condensed milk.

4. Pour 1/2 cup into the 6 bowls. Add food coloring to create the colors of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. If you want a vibrant rainbow, add 4 drops of food coloring for the colors red, yellow, green and blue. To make orange, use 3 drops of red and 1 drop of yellow. For purple, use 2 drops of red and 2 drops of blue.

5. Spray a silicone muffin pan with cooking spray and wipe clean. Add 3/4 tsp. of red gelatin mixture into the muffin pan holes. Refrigerate until they are set for around 10 minutes. The first layer will take longer than each subsequent layer. Repeat using the remaining colors.

6. Refrigerate the finished pan overnight, allowing all layers to bond.

7. Serve by loosening the shots around the edges and popping them out of the muffin tin.

8. Right before serving, garnish by using frosting and sprinkles.
